Located in the heart of the Everglades, surrounded by more than a million acres of National Park, wetlands, and cypress hammocks of wild Florida, Big Cypress Gallery is the photographic art gallery and studio of Clyde and Niki Butcher. It is located on Tamiami Trail (highway 41), 47 miles east of the intersection of 41/951 in Naples, and 35 miles west of Krome Avenue in Miami. One half mile west of the gallery is the Big Cypress National Preserve Oasis Visitor Center. |

DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST:
Go south on I-75 to exit 101 (SR 951). Take the exit toward Marco Island. You will be traveling south on SR 951. When you reach Tamiami Trail (Hwy 41) you will see a CVS Pharmacy on your left. Turn east (left) onto Tamiami Trail. If you need gas this is a good place to get it. From that point to the gallery is approximately 47 miles. One half mile before you reach the gallery you will see the Big Cypress National Preserve Oasis Visitors Center on the north (left) side of the road. We are approximately ½ mile further down the road on the south (right) side. There is a sign out in front.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE EAST:
Go south on the Florida Turnpike (821), exit at Tamiami Trail (Hwy 41) going west (right). As you travel west on Tamiami Trail (Hwy 41) you will eventually see, on your north (right) side, a Micosukee Gambling Casino. It is located on Krome Ave (SR 997). On the south (left) side of the road is a gas station. If you need gas this is a good place. From that intersection, the gallery is approximately 37 miles. The gallery is on the south (left) side of Tamiami Trail. There is a sign out in front. If the gallery comes up suddenly, do NOT slam on your brakes. You can drive one half mile further to the Big Cypress National Preserve Visitor Center and make a safe turn around at that location.

Directions to Clyde's Venice Gallery and Studio:
I 75 to exit 193 Jacaranda Blvd. South on Jacaranda Blvd approx. 1/2 mile to Venice Ave. Right (west) on Venice Ave about 3 miles to Warfield Ave. Left (south) on Warfield Ave, which is the last street before the drawbridge and across from Patch's restaurant on the right. Take Warfield 3 blocks to the gallery on the left side of the road. We are in an industrial area, so look for the white building with gray awnings in front.
