The 12x10 book contains a collection of 59 images of the Apalachicola region by Clyde Butcher. The book was produced in conjunction with the film Apalachicola River - An American Treasure. The project of filming and photographing the Apalachicola region concluded with an opening for the film and an exhibit at the Brogen Museum in Tallahassee Florida.
The book includes an Introduction by Senator Bob Graham, Foreward by Governor Jeb Bush and an Afterwards by Clyde as well as a collection of 'snap-shots' from the project with Elam and Sammy. Throughout the book are quotes from the people of the Apalachicola River.
