The Limited Edition of 125 leather bound books, each in a leather bound clam-shell, with a limited edition numbered 20x24" silver-gelatin framed photograph of Tamiami Trail #12. The photograph and the book are given the same number.
A retrospective of Clyde's photography from 1961-1999. The 'table-top' book measures 15x13 with one hundred and forty-three pages and one hundred-eleven images ranging in size from 11x12" to 12x24".
The book includes an Introduction by Mr. Bill Meadows, President of the Wilderness Society and also essays by Mr. Nathaniel Reed, Florida's first gubernatorial Environmental Advisor, and also Assistant Secretary of the Interior for both President Nixon and Ford; Arnold Simons, Art Critic; Allys Pallaino-Craig, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Florida State University; Dan Dustin, Professor Florida International University; and Niki Butcher, who has written short stories on each of the images as well as a brief sotry on her and Clyde's life together. Included are color images from Clyde's early photographic career.
