Visions of Dali’s Spain Coffee Mug

White 8 ounce coffee mug featuring Clyde Butcher’s photograph Home of Dali 7. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Imported mug, decorated in the U.S. In 2017, the Dalí Museum sought Clyde’s talents to capture the spirit of Dalí’s Mediterranean home, located in one of the world’s most dramatic landscapes. This coffee mug is a souvenir memento to remember Clyde’s dramatic collection of photographs and the exciting collaboration with the Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, FL. Home of Dali 7: Clyde’s Story Like Dalí’s paintings, his house is unique. One of the most unique aspects is the numerous eggs. As I waked around photographing outside Dalí’s, I was surprised to find an egg balanced on the dovecote. To me, it is precariously balanced and it causes a certain amount of tension – have you ever tried to balance an egg like that? I learned that the eggs around Dalí’s house are a symbol of rebirth and the connection with natural processes. The egg stands against all the forces of nature, so the tension is also an inspiration.
