Westons Beach 4
I was invited to participate in a discussion group for View Camera Magazine at the Monterey Convention of Mammoth Cameras. It was a nostalgic moment for me as I had photographed Point Lobos when I was younger and had always wanted to return. While at the convention, I carved out some time to return to Weston Beach. I arrived during low tide, which allowed me to capture the textures and shapes of the rock formations. Weston Beach is a photographer’s paradise and aptly named after the legendary Edward Weston, who lived and photographed near it. This photograph is hand-printed in Clyde’s darkroom on fiber-based paper, selenium toned, then mounted and matted to current archival standards. The photograph is a limited edition and signed by Clyde. Disclaimer – Cropping, contrast, and image density may vary. To learn more about the darkroom printing process, click here.
