As we drove along the southeastern coast of Cuba I felt like I was driving along the coast of California, the only difference was the color of the water. The Cuban sea was the same deep rich color of blue as the Gulf Stream. We were traveling with our local newspaper, the Naples News, and the group of American environmentalists. These areas of Cuba made us feel very much at home. We stopped at several places and enjoyed the rugged beaches.
