MOON OVER MT. WHITNEY 2
Photographic Story We spent a week in the Mt. Whitney – Alabama Hills area of California. This was another early morning, but this one was special. The moon was setting over Mt. Whitney, and I was excited about capturing the image. We arrived at the location we had picked out the day before, but the moon was still to high in the sky to capture both the moon and the mountains in a photograph. We waited for a long time. Digital – Archival Pigment Print This photograph was taken with an analog large format camera. After Clyde develops the negative, the film is scanned and edited in a computer program mimicking his darkroom techniques. The photograph is printed on an Epson Stylus 4800 or 11880 printer. Clyde uses archival Ultra-chrome K3 ink and prints on archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. The limited edition photograph is then mounted and matted to current archival standards. Each print is signed and numbered.
