MYAKKA RANCH HOUSE ROAD 1 © 2001Myakka River State Park, Sarasota
Now that we have added a second location for my gallery and studio in Venice, I am finding the opportunity to explore the Myakka State Park. For a good portion of the summer, Myakka was submerged under an abundance of water, making it a wet wonderland of tropical splendor. However, the abundance of water forced the park to close its gates. Fortunately, Ranger Paula was kind enough to drive me around in the park jeep to many unique locations. Everywhere I looked I found great scenes to photograph…Myakka is truly a beautiful place.
