SANTA FE RIVER 31 © 2012
Photographic Story During the dry season of Florida I had first discovered this area of the Santa Fe River. It was beautiful and I enjoyed photographing it, but I wondered what it would be like when the wet season began and so I returned. I was pleased to see how much more beautiful the scene was with water at the base of the cypress trees. I was lucky there was a soft mist while I was photographing. It gave the image a feeling of gentleness. Digital – Archival Pigment Print This photograph was taken with an analog large format camera. After Clyde develops the negative, the film is scanned and edited in a computer program mimicking his darkroom techniques. The photograph is printed on an Epson Stylus 4800 or 11880 printer. Clyde uses archival Ultra-chrome K3 ink and prints on archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. The limited edition photograph is then mounted and matted to current archival standards. Each print is signed and numbered.
