TREE GRASS – ROAN MOUNTAIN 1
Photographic Story While exploring the Smoky Mountain area, we visited Roan Mountain State Park, which is on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. The park is well known for it’s profusion of rhododendron flowers, and there were still quite a few still blooming while we were there. The hike on Roan Mountain was a beautiful easy hike and I had a great time enjoying the scenery. When I came across this scene I was fascinated with the contrast between the texture of the tree and the grass, which seemed to flow like water.
