You may wonder why so many people visit Yellowstone National Park. The land is so unstable; it’s a little nerve-racking. But I enjoy photographing the diverse geological land formations that are features of the park. The area around Orange Spring Mound is fascinating; however, the intensity of the value scale makes it very difficult for black and white photography. This photograph is printed on a large format Epson printer using genuine Epson ink and archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. Each photograph is digitally signed, then mounted and matted to current archival standards. This is a limited edition series and each photograph is numbered.
