Join us from 10 am – 3 pm for docent and master naturalist tours at the Big Cypress Gallery. Each tour is an hour long and will include a docent tour inside the gallery and a dry walk around the property with a master naturalist. Please dress comfortably and bring a bottle of water. Tickets are sold out but a waitlist is available at the link below.

You will start your tour in Big Cypress Gallery. Where you will meet Paul, Clyde’s darkroom assistant who has worked at Clyde’s Venice Gallery for 13 years, learn a bit about Clyde’s history, adventures taking his photographs, and his darkroom and photography techniques.

After your docent tour, you will meet your master naturalist tour guide behind the gallery; this is an exclusive opportunity to see the Big Cypress Gallery property behind the gates. Your guides, Scott and Conny, have lived and worked at Big Cypress Gallery for the past 11 years and are both certified Master Naturalists. They will be guiding you on a dry native plant walk on our 13 acres nestled in over a million acres of wilderness. You will not get your feet wet on this tour. During your native plant walk, you will come across Clyde and Niki Butcher’s swamp cottage and Bungalow. Tour these secluded and peaceful property rentals and see the comfortable and artistically designed spaces that could be your next vacation.
