Photographic Story I took this photograph during the 2008 election. I was on vacation with my two Republican cousins. When we drove past this I begged them to turn around so I could photograph it, but they would have nothing to do with Hillary until I told them what the folks had done on their fence, then they made the U-turn. Whether you like Hillary or not, I think there’s some fun humor in this! The Art of Hand Painting Black and White Photographs Niki prints her images on fiber-base black and white mat surface paper in the darkroom, then using Q-tips and cotton balls, she applies a thin coat of oil paint over the surface allowing the image to gently be seen through the oil paint.
