FORT JEFFERSON BUTTONWOOD © 2016
Dry Tortugas National Park, FL
Photographic Story
We got up very early this morning to capture the morning sun hitting the side of the Fort. It was a glorious morning with a beautiful sunrise. Ranger Karl joined me as we hiked down the beach looking for the perfect angle to photograph the Fort. After spending the morning photographing the Fort, I decided to spend some time inside the Fort photographing, and also photographing the parade grounds. The grounds have some remarkable buttonwood trees with great textures begging to be photographed!
