United Nations declared 2002 the year of the mountains. Celebrations and conferences were held all over the world. The conference for the mountains of the Caribbean was held in Cuba. Clyde was invited by the Ambassador to Cuba from the United Nations to photograph the mountains for the conference being held in the Sierra Maestra Mountains. I loved the way this fig tree had made itself at home against the rocks in the edge of the mountain. The texture combined with the smooth bark of the tree made for an interesting photograph. This photograph is printed on a large format Epson printer using genuine Epson ink and archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. Each photograph is digitally signed, then mounted and matted to current archival standards. This is a limited edition series and each photograph is numbered.
