“The long meditative contemplation of these rocks has contributed powerfully to the flowering of the ‘morphological esthetics of the soft and the hard’” – Salvador Dalí As we were walking through Cap de Creus National Park, I saw this rock in the distance, and it seemed familiar to me from one of Dalí’s famous paintings. I very carefully made my way toward it as the trail surface was extremely rugged. The sun was in the perfect position behind the rock, making it appear backlit and giving it a life of its own. This photograph is printed on a large format Epson printer using genuine Epson ink and archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. Each photograph is digitally signed, then mounted and matted to current archival standards. This is a limited edition series and each photograph is numbered.
