Plaja S’Arenella with Boat © 2017Cadaqués, Spain
I saw this lonely boat tied up on the beach while exploring the area. This pristine bay was one of the few places you could bring a boat to shore, which is unusual in such a rocky area. I came back several times and noticed how the light played on the different angles of the boat. The sun made for an interesting composition between the boat, the bay, and the buildings. This scene of the boat on the shore gave me a feeling of peace and a sense that I was playing a part in preserving this unique town’s history.
