“This picture represented a landscape near Port Lligat, whose rocks were lighted by a transparent and melancholy twilight; in the foreground an olive tree with its branches cut, and without leaves”. – Salvador Dalí I found this place on the way to Port Lligat and I returned to it several times. Seeing the dramatic jagged rocks against the blue Mediterranean, it became clear to me that this was the inspiration of Dalí’s Persistence of Memory Paintings. This photograph is printed on a large format Epson printer using genuine Epson ink and archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. Each photograph is digitally signed, then mounted and matted to current archival standards. This is a limited edition series and each photograph is numbered.
