My teenage years were spent in California, living in a town near Joshua Tree. At that time, it was a state park. When I heard it had become a national park, I was thrilled and excited to return for a visit. It was good to see that it was just as “Dr. Seusswondrous” as it had always been. Those trees are amazingly bizarre, and with all the wind-worn, rounded boulders, the area is inspirational to photograph. I like to think the park may have inspired Dr. Seuss as well. This photograph is printed on a large format Epson printer using genuine Epson ink and archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. Each photograph is digitally signed, then mounted and matted to current archival standards. This is a limited edition series and each photograph is numbered.
