BRIDAL VEIL FALLS 68 © 2006Yosemite National Park, CA
We were staying in Yosemite at six thousand feet and woke up one morning to a beautiful snowfall. We jumped up, anxious to get down to the valley to capture the snow, but when we got outside we found our car was buried in snow and we couldn’t leave until it was shoveled out! We waited our turn as the owner of the hotel and his employees slowly dug out the cars in the parking lot. By the time we had reached Inspiration Point the snow had begun melting rapidly; however, I was able to capture this photograph before it was all gone.
