Canyon de Chelly 2
Photographic Story On our way to Monument Valley, we stopped by Canyon de Chelly and enjoyed the view. Looking down into the canyon made me want to join one of their tours, but we couldn’t stay long enough; we had stopped here spontaneously and had already made reservations at Monument Valley. However, I was able to take several photographs and enjoyed the peace of the place very much. There is a lot of history in Monument Valley, and learning about the Native Americans who have lived here is always interesting. Digital – Archival Pigment Print This photograph was taken with an analog large format camera. After Clyde develops the negative, the film is scanned and edited in a computer program mimicking his darkroom techniques. The photograph is printed on an Epson Stylus 4800 or 11880 printer. Clyde uses archival Ultra-chrome K3 ink and prints on archival Harman Hahnemuhle paper. The limited-edition photograph is then mounted and matted to current archival standards. This is a limited edition series and each photograph is numbered.
