CANYONLANDS © 1997Moab, Utah
While photographing the Escalante area for the Wilderness Society, I became so enthralled with the beauty of this part of Utah that I decided I needed to see more of it. So, I stretched my trip for an additional three days to check out Canyonlands National Park. There was so much to photograph; the endless deep canyons and broad mesas that stretch over five hundred square miles were impressive. I took a few photographs, but not enough to do the area justice. I want to return, but I keep getting caught up in photographing the beauty of our country. We are lucky to have so much of it left to enjoy!
