CASCADE FALLS 3 © 2006Yosemite National Park, CA
After spending three weeks photographing Yosemite Valley in the spring of 2006, I ventured to the upper country. As I left the valley and traveled up the side of the mountain, I came across this gorgeous waterfall that few people ever notice. Cascading from high up in the mountains, it flowed beneath the road and into the valley below. There was so much potential for a great photograph, but the light was not right at the time. I returned several times until one day, fog rolled in and created the perfect conditions for this photograph.
