CASCADE FALLS 3 © 2006Yosemite National Park, CA
I had spent three weeks during spring photographing Yosemite Valley and decided to check out the upper country while I was there. As I left the valley and was driving up the side of the mountain we came across this wonderful waterfall that very few people notice. It tumbles and crashes from way up in the mountain, runs under the road, and on down into the valley. It had the potential of being a great photograph, but the light wasn’t right. I returned several times until, one day, the fog drifted in creating perfect light for a photograph.
