DEER CREEK © 1998Utah
The Aspen trees had just begun to change into their fall colors as I entered the high country of Utah. I had just spent a week down in the desert, and as we came up into the mountains it felt good to once again be among the trees. When I saw this scene, with the light reflecting off the bright yellow leaves of the Aspen trees, it gave me a wonderful feeling of being alive. I scrambled to capture the scene before the sun disappeared.
