MOON OVER TETONS 4 © 2006Grand Teton National Park, WY
In 2006, Niki and I made a ten-day photography expedition to the Teton Mountain range for an exhibit. While exploring Jackson Hole, we met photographer David Brookover, who recommended a picturesque spot to photograph. The next morning, the three of us traveled to the spot to photograph. David, specializing in color photography, began early to catch the “Aspen Glow” while I waited for full sun to emphasize shadows in black-and-white. While we waited for the right light, David shared an incredible tidbit – the nearby pond had been dry for seven years, making this visit remarkably fortuitous. As the sun rose, we seized the moment to capture the stunning Tetons and the replenished pond, a unique convergence of nature’s revival and photographic perfection.
