I wanted the drifting sand texture on the dunes at Glamis in Southern California. I discovered the best time was the summer. A time that is too HOT for normal people to be out in the dunes! This photograph is hand-printed in Clyde’s darkroom on fiber-based paper, selenium toned, then mounted and matted to current archival standards.
