CASEY KEY RAINBOW © 2011Barrier Island, Venice, FL
The Sarasota Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast invited me to be their first Artist in Residence. I spent two weeks rambling around taking photos of my own desire and also joined them on some trips to some of the properties they have saved. While we were driving around Casey Key looking for photographic opportunities, we received a sprinkling of “sunshine rain” (rain & sunshine at the same time). We knew a rainbow was near and went in search. By the time we found a composition the rain had moved offshore; however, we were lucky enough to capture this rainbow in the distance.
