HIGHLANDS HAMMOCK TRAIL © 2020Sebring, FL
I had purchased a Leica M10 Monochrome camera and was anxious to play around with it and my Pentax 645 35mm shift lens, so Niki and I headed out to Highlands Hammock State Park for a week. Cypress Swamp Trail is a beautiful boardwalk experience. When I saw this image, it was perfect except for the light. Niki and I sat and waited for almost two hours for clouds to cover the sun so the lighting would be even. It felt so good to sit in the silence of nature. It also felt wonderful to have captured, in the camera, the image that I saw in my mind.
