LAKE MYAKKA 1 © 2017Myakka River State Park, Sarasota
I think I could spend my lifetime photographing Myakka State Park! It is one of our largest state parks and is very beautiful in so many different ways. On this trip the sun was out so photographing in the forest wasn’t an option. Fortunately, the clouds building up over the lake were wonderful and so that is where I began. The stroke I had several months before limited my ability to get around, but I managed to find a spot near the edge of the lake where I could use my walker. Once I found the spot and set up my camera I sat down on my walker and waited. When the clouds formed a dynamic shape I took the photograph.
