MYAKKA CANOPY TRAIL © 2001Myakka River State Park, Sarasota
The canopy trail in Myakka leads to the wonderful experience of walking through the treetops. The park, through the financial support of the community, built a suspension bridge through the tops of the trees, so that we can experience the environment of treetops. Wonderful! On the day I took this picture, the trail was flooded. It looked like a water wonderland, and remarkably different from the other times I had walked the trail.
