MYAKKA CANOPY WALK © 2001Myakka River State Park, Sarasota
The Canopy Trail in Myakka leads to the wonderful experience of walking through the treetops. The park, through the financial support of the community and the help of Meg Lowman, built a suspension bridge through the tops of the trees, so that we can experience the environment of treetops. Wonderful! On the day I took this picture, the trail was flooded. It looked like a water wonderland, and remarkably different from the other times I had walked the trail.
