Now that we have added a second location for my gallery and studio in Venice, I am finding the opportunity to explore the area. This image is the first picture I have taken of the Myakka River. I’m looking forward to many more! As I was setting up to take this photograph, the clouds began disappearing. I was fortunate to get in a couple of shots before the sky became a solid blue expanse without one cloud in it! This photograph is hand-printed in Clyde’s darkroom on fiber-based paper, selenium toned, then mounted and matted to current archival standards.
