Thunderstorms are a vital part of the summer in Florida. I love the way the clouds roll across the sky and build into a powerful and awe-inspiring spectacle of light and sound. However, it can be dangerous to photograph under these conditions. During this storm, I had lightning striking all around me. After one very close strike, I covered up my camera and hurried back to my truck without the camera, to wait until the storm ended.
