Join us on March 25th from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Big Cypress Gallery. Master naturalist tours will start at 9:30 am with the last ticketed tour beginning at 2:00 pm (the gallery will remain open until 5:00 pm). Each tour will be approximately 30-45 minutes. Start inside the Big Cypress Gallery for check in, then your tour will begin behind the gates where only our rental guests and staff can venture. Your certified Master Naturalists guides will take you on a native plant walk and share about the wild inhabitants that call this place home. You will not get your feet wet on this walk. Participants will have a chance to tour the comfy Swamp Cottage, one of our two vacation rental properties.
The gallery will be open and you will get a chance to view Clyde’s photographs and learn a bit about the artist before and after your tour. We suggest comfortable walking shoes, a hat, light rain gear, and a bottle of water. Please note Clyde will not be present at this event. Questions? Call 239-695-2428.
Meet Clyde and Niki at their Big Cypress Gallery Saturday, August 11th from 10am-4pm. They both will be showing some of their new works and will be available for book and calendar signing. They will be introducing our new visiting artist Leslie Peebles which has been visiting our Big Cypress Gallery for years drawing and painting our surrounding area. We are very excited to introduce her beautiful work at our gallery. Leslie is a painter and printmaker who specializes in linoleum and wood block relief prints, oils, and encaustics. Her newest pieces are mixed media that combine relief print with encaustic medium. Her works will be on exhibit until December.
August is one of Clyde’s favorite months to photograph the Everglades, and he is looking forward to spending some time in his Swamp Bungalow behind the gallery photographing for the month of August. 
Clyde and Niki will be in their Big Cypress Gallery all weekend long. Clyde will be available for a book signing and his NEW 2019 Calendar will be there too. This will be a great opportunity to get a start on your holiday shopping. Don’t miss Clyde and Niki, as this will be their last visit to the gallery this year.
