ORLANDO, FL – Meet Clyde Butcher for a book signing on April 7th at 6 pm at the Orlando Museum of Art during the museum’s monthly First Thursdays.  Taking place in the Crawford Gallery, this event will feature the work of various local artists depicting the beauty of Florida, plus live entertainment, drinks, and food are available. The theme for April’s event is “Florida Grown” and seeks to present works that depict the beauty of Florida, from its diverse wildlife and landscapes to its historic landmarks and tourist destinations. Clyde Butcher Lecture

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Join Clyde for a lecture and book signing at the Orlando Museum of Art on April 6, at 5 pm. Prior to the lecture, enjoy refreshments and access to the exhibition Cathedrals of Florida: Masterworks by Clyde Butcher. A book signing, with catalogs available for purchase, will follow the presentation. Tickets are $15 for members ($20 for non-members) and may be purchased in advance at the link below.

The Orlando Museum of Art is showing a special exhibition of Clyde Butcher’s mural-size Florida photographs on display until June 30th, 2022. Clyde has been photographing Florida’s untouched landscapes for over 30 years. Through his art, he strives to connect the viewer to the spiritual side of nature. Clyde produces incredible detailed mural-sized prints on fiber-based silver gelatin paper. He makes images measuring up to 5×9′ feet that allow the viewer to more fully embrace the breadth and scope of the landscape as Butcher experienced it in the field.
