The America’s Everglades exhibit is the culmination of a quarter century of photographic expeditions in the Everglades. From the deepest cypress strands of the sawgrass prairies, coastal waters and languid estuaries, to pinpoint still-lives of rare species, Butcher reveals its ecosystem in magnificent detail.  He makes an unquestionable case for why we should care about its future. The 35 large black and white photographs in this exhibition majestical capture the beauty of this ethereal ecosystem.  Butcher brings the unique light and clarity of his artistic visions this mysterious and primeval place rarely seen by humans.  His goal as an artist is to preserve our natural heritage that is America’s Everglades for future generations.
