Meet Clyde Butcher
VENICE GALLERY AND STUDIO

Join Clyde Butcher Saturday, May 13th from 10 am – 3 pm as we celebrate all the moms out there at his Venice Gallery and Studio. We will have some great Mother’s Day specials and a gift for every mom who joins us!

Clyde will be available to sign books and is looking forward to telling stories of his photographic adventures and beyond with you.

At this special event, you will be taking a unique behind-the-scenes view of Clyde’s art and his photographic process. Both Clyde’s stunning classic Florida photographs and Niki’s hand-painted photography will be on display in the showrooms.

Enjoy insights from his adventures photographing and how he captures the essence of the environment, to getting his vision onto MURAL SIZED paper, and to the final framed artworks themselves –plus all of the time and hands-on work in between that makes his art so remarkable.

This event is FREE. We are asking that attendees RSVP so that we’ll know how many people to expect. Please RSVP to let us know if you will be joining us in the morning or afternoon. Make sure to reserve your spot CLICK HERE.

We hope you can join us for this wonderful one-day event! Questions? Give us a call (941) 486-0811.

Master Naturalist Tours
BIG CYPRESS GALLERY

Join us on December 3rd from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Big Cypress Gallery. Master Naturalist tours will start at 9:30 am with the last ticketed tour beginning at 2:00 pm (the gallery will remain open until 5:00 pm). Each tour will be approximately 30-45 minutes in length and tickets are $10 each which can be applied as a credit toward a holiday gift in the gallery. CLICK HERE to reserve your spot for this event.

Check-in first inside the Big Cypress Gallery, then your tour will begin behind the gates where only our rental guests and staff can venture. Your certified Master Naturalists guides will take you on a native plant walk and share about the wild inhabitants that call this place home. You will not get your feet wet on this walk. Participants will have a chance to tour the comfy Swamp Cottage, one of our two vacation rental properties.  This artistically designed, spacious home was built by Clyde and Niki and was the base for many of their Everglades adventures.

The gallery will be open and you will get a chance to view Clyde’s photographs and learn a bit about the artist before and after your tour.  We suggest comfortable walking shoes, a hat, light rain gear and a bottle of water. Participants must be able to stand and walk on mildly irregular surfaces and climb a full flight of stairs. Please note Clyde will not be present at this event. Questions? Call 239-695-2428.
