Clyde Butcher’s LifeworksLAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO
September 6 - November 30
Clyde Butcher’s newest exhibit, “Lifeworks,” meticulously traces his evolution as a photographer from the early years of learning from and emulating other photographers such as Ansel Adams and Edward Weston to developing his own style and techniques. This collection, 60 years in the making, is all-encompassing and contains images from the Florida Everglades and pristine beaches to America’s stunning natural treasures, and even delves into his international travels in Cuba, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
“Lifeworks” invites the viewer to explore the profound impact of following one’s passion. Photography, for Clyde, has been more than a mere craft or profession—it has been a conduit through which he has sought to capture the soul-stirring beauty of our world. This collection is a testament to the belief that following one’s passion can lead to a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.
