Meet our guest artist Leslie Peebles at Big Cypress Gallery Saturday, December 29 from 10am-5pm.  Leslie’s works will be showing at gallery thru January 31, 2019.

Leslie Peebles is an ardent environmentalist and naturalist who connects her audience to the flora and fauna of Florida. The Everglades has become a big source of inspiration for Leslie’s work, and she spends time every year on Clyde Butcher’s Big Cypress property, producing oil paintings and relief prints from each experience. The body of work that will hang in the Big Cypress Gallery are pieces that were drawn and painted, or carved, inked and printed from imagery captured on Clyde’s property or the surrounding area.
