This Everglades image taken by Scott is printed on archival photographic paper, mounted on 1/8” Dibond, and sealed with a satin finish for UV, dust, and scratch protection.  Strong, lightweight, and ready to hang. Price includes shipping. Loop Road is one of the most traveled scenic drives in the Big Cypress National Preserve. It allows visitors to glimpse into the depth of a wetland ecosystem and appreciate the diversity of its habitats and native plant communities. It was early August 2018 that my wife and I came upon this scene. The sun was still high overhead, but primarily positioned behind, allowing the light to illuminate cypress tree trunks that tend to be hidden in the shadows. Capturing the glow of the submerged aquatic plants as they carpet the swamp floor was my hope. With my camera inches from the water's surface and my partner in life keeping an eye on gators nearby, I was able to photograph this unique landscape that made me fall in love with the Everglades over and over again. A visitor to the Big Cypress Gallery told me that Sweet Water captured the mystery of the swamp for him. I believe that is one of the greatest compliments I can strive for. Photographed with a Canon digital camera, this photograph reveals the unique array of plants that occupy the swamp, providing habitat for aquatic life such as fish, alligators, and turtles.
